What the contact form collects

• your name and email address;
• your company or estate, if you give it;
• the topic you choose and your message.

To stop automated abuse, the form limits how many messages can be sent in an hour. For that, the API briefly counts requests by your IP address and email address.

Why

To reply to you and deal with your enquiry. We don’t sell it, and we don’t add you to a mailing list because you wrote to us. The form doesn’t send you an automatic email: you hear back from a person.

Who sees it

Safestate’s own team. Your message is stored on Safestate’s servers and sent by email to the people at Safestate who answer enquiries. We don’t share it with anyone else.

How long it’s kept

Your enquiry is kept for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, and then deleted.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. Like any website, the servers that deliver these pages see your IP address and browser details so they can send the pages to you.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Send the request through the contact formand we’ll respond. You may also complain to the Information Regulator.

The Safestate app

Personal information in the Safestate app and console is processed for the estate that uses it. The estate is the responsible party and Safestate is its operator, so the estate’s own notices explain how that information is used.
